Dear Friend of the Mexican Cultural Institute,

It is my pleasure to share with you the Mexican Cultural Institute’s new online donation page, making it easy for you to support our non-profit Institution with the contribution level that works for you. With this new feature we hope to build our support network, allowing us to keep bringing you the exciting and diverse selection of programs that showcase Mexico’s extraordinary cultural contributions in this nation. Click here to see our current and past events.

Since the Institute’s establishment in 1990, we have carried out our mission to enrich relations between Mexico and the United States through culture and artistic dialogue. Our ongoing programming brings to D.C. the best of Mexican art exhibits, scholarly lectures, film screenings, music concerts, performing arts, book presentations and culinary demonstrations.

As part of its education initiative, the Mexican Cultural Institute also provides free guided tours of its historic mansion and permanent murals to school groups of all ages, and offers informative sessions about cultural diplomacy and U.S.-Mexico relations to students. In 2019, the Institute will continue to expand its outreach to local universities and schools to increase educational exchange opportunities between the two countries.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Mexican Cultural Institute relies heavily on the generosity of committed donors in order to offer these vibrant cultural and educational programs at no cost to the public. I would like to invite you to support our work with a donation of any amount, which will be directly allocated to the artist fees, event production and institutional collaborations for our 2019 cultural programs. Contributions above $250 are tax-deductible, and donors will receive an IRS-compliant receipt as a record of the donation.

Thank you very much for your consideration. We are honored to have you as part of our community, and we hope you enjoy our upcoming events!

Warm regards,

Ix-Nic Iruegas
Executive Director
